The Female Patient, 2000. 25: p. 77-83 The relationship between postmenopausal hormone replacement therapy and breast cancer is considered. Characteristics of tumors in hormone replacement therapy users, the Iowa Women's Health Study, Stallard Study, and Li Study are discussed. Most reported RRs cluster around unity, suggesting that any trend toward increased risk is small. Patients should evaluate hormone replacement therapy based on individual needs and risk factors for cancer, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease. NOT AUTHOR'S ABSTRACT 174.
